Hi, I’m Ruth – Founder of RL Fitness
I’m a qualified Personal Trainer and Women’s Health Coach based in Redditch, and I created RL Fitness with one simple mission:
To take you further than you thought possible.
Not just physically… but mentally too.
Because in my experience, the biggest transformations don’t just come from workouts, they come from the support, understanding, and coaching behind them.
My Story (And Why This Matters)
Before I was a coach, I was on my own journey too.
I’m a mum of two, and like many women, there have been times where my own health and fitness slipped down the priority list. Life gets busy, responsibilities grow, and it’s easy to put yourself last.
It wasn’t until my early 30s that I really discovered my love for fitness, not just for how it made me look, but for how it made me feel. Stronger. More confident. More in control.
That passion is what led me to become a coach.
Now in my 40s, I’m also experiencing my own perimenopause journey.
And I’ll be honest, it’s a different phase of life.
Your body changes.
What used to work doesn’t always work anymore.
Energy, sleep, motivation… they can all feel unpredictable.
But this is exactly why I do what I do.
Because I don’t just teach this — I live it.
I understand what it feels like to be in your shoes, and I know how important it is to have the right support, guidance, and approach during these stages.
